Paul to Tom McCredies such a day to do chores & no water had to carry for the horse & calves old Roy would not drink had to dip out of the well here about 2 qts at a time I had to put hay & cut it for the horse, feed & milk & bed the things after baking bread. Wed 10 Uncle John Spedding dead 84 years yesterday. another terrible day raining last night when we went to bed rained most of the night this morning wind west & started ti snow then drift The sun struck out at intervales then it would blow & drift they had such a rough time comeing home & at night it was awful to get the chores done its enough to give one the Grip Paul as usual did not get home untill after dark.
