Sun 7. soft in the day & muddy froze at night wind turned north; the childrens father came. was here for dinner. gave is $12 .8 cts we got to pay $7 right out for rails

Mon 8 & 1.50 for Grip cure Minnie Brown got it for us {sal?} Marguerirte went over after it: Paul took Marjorie to Chippewa this morning to go to Bertie we got up 20 min to 6. sent 2lb 14 Kister made it 2. 112 & 4 cts cash Browngumme 25 Eclectric oil 25 sodas 10, Lemons 13, roads rough, the horse sweaty when he came home. Tom McCredie here collecting assesing tonight. Fannie fast got home. snowing all the afternoon from the north. I set sponges tonight 5 eggs yesterday, we all have colds

Teu 9. wind north east. Paul to Tom McCredies such a day to do chores & no water had to carry for the horse & calves old Roy would not drink had to dip out of the well here about 2 qts at a time I had to put hay & cut it for the horse, feed & milk & bed the things after baking bread. Paul never got home untill after dark got Topsy

Wed 10 Uncle John Spedding dead 84 years yesterday. another terrible day raining last night when we went to bed rained most of the night this morning wind west & started ti snow then drift The sun struck out at intervales then it would blow & drift they had such a rough time comeing home & at night it was awful to get the chores done its enough to give one the Grip Paul as usual did not get home untill after dark. I churned & worked the butter, Will was over & says his head aches all the time

Thur 11 storming in the fornoon cleared up in the afternoon I ironed out the patches they had moth in them

Friday 12. beautiful day sunshine all day & wind south west I washed out some things & cleaned the {page is cut off } kitchen
