Fri Nov 4: Rained gently but did not fall very much. day of Vaughan Ploughing match.

Sat Nov 5: Fair and quite cold quite a few squawls of snow our first. ice for several morning. Auntie went to call on Mrs Willie Bowes. Lizzie Carleton called in the afternoon.

Sun Nov 6: Fine and bright at first. followed by squawls of snow. it was a heavy frost then milder. Aunt Mattie and I at morning church. light showers in evening, we did not go to church. I have a cold. Annie called in the afternoon.

Mon Nov 7: A heavy fall of wet snow in the night. then bright and thawing all gone by night. Auntie washed it was Thanksgiving day. brought in Apples. Dahlias.

Tue Nov 8: Fine but quite cold. freezing hard.

Wed Nov 9: Snowing lightly from the East all day a great debth for early in November. Lighted little fire Furnace.

Thur Nov 10: Fine bright but very cold. Mrs Pearson. Mrs Howard called. Snow did not go at all.

Fri Nov 11: Fine and milder quite slushy. Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto at Lizzies to lunch. home on 4.30 Car.

Sat Nov 12: Colder again and very wintry. Katie Chapman called. Annie here in the evening.
