August, 1926.

4 Wednesday. Sultry & a few showers Walter & Ella hoed the garden this forenoon. Vernon & Aubrey were plowing. This afternoon Vernon & Ella picked a few more raspberries in Reists bush and Aubrey was cultivating

5 Thursday. Rained this morning Cleared up after dinner Walter and Vernon went to Elmira this morning. Walter and Ella went to Fergus this afternoon and visited Ezra Miller at the Hospital and were at Art Cragg's for tea, also called at Earl Miller's.

6 Friday. Very hot and sultry. Walter cut some of the wheat today and Vernon & Aubrey were stooking. We were asked down to Oscar Schmidt's tonight but Walter wouldn't go.
