Wed Sept 19. Fine day but raw east wind. I cleaned back kitchen, and picked a few apples. took Miss Edey a large basket. and Mrs D. got two small ones for her mother. Mrs Smellie callled,

Thur Sept 20. Rained heavily early. then warm and showery most of day.

Fri Sept 21. Fine bright and warm. S.W wind. sun crossing line. I cleaned outside of windows down stairs, cleaned cellar and cleaned out furnace. Mrs D and I called to ask Mr {illegible}.

Sat Sept 22. Fine bright and cooler but a perfect day. I went to Toronto in the morning to see W.Cook about depositing money of the Grange Ave mortgage. Tom and Jennie Speight also Miss Speight for tea, first fire.

Sun Sept 23. Fine bright and quite cool but perfect day. at morning church for a walk with Mrs D. started for church but met company.

Mon Sept 24. Fine day. bright and sunny, cleared Parlor and Dining Room had Mrs D. Electric cleaner. picked a few apples. quite a frost.

Tue Sept 25. Fair but dull and rather cold. cleaned kitchen and cleaned stove. all finished house cleaning. W.{Martin?} finished picking apples. 50 cents but gave him 75bcents, T.

Wed Sept 26. Fair but dull and cool untill a light shower in eve. I took flowers up but did not remain to decorate. Annie here at night.

Thur Sept 27. Dull and rather cold. with a few squawls. Mrs D. Annie and I at Thanksgiving service. not many out $30. I was at Annies Mr Robins of Markham preached.

Fri Sept 28. Fine and brighter, I finished up shed. Mrs Hunt got a box of apples $1.00. T.
