June, 1927
28 Tuesday. Lovely warm day. The men finished plowing the buckwheat grounds. We went to the Alma Presbyterian Garden Party tonight. Bob Wilson and his Co. rendered the programme. Fred Hodgson of Tavistock, champion boy orator of Canada, gave an addres on "Canada." The programme was excellent.
29 Wednesday. Hot weather. The men were working up the buckwheat ground. Walter went to choir practice tonight.
30 Thursday. Hot & sultry. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira this morning. Vernon harvested the buckwheat ground and they sowed the buckwheat this afternoon. Walter went to a finance meeting at church tonight.
Married - On june 23 at Elmira, Grace Schweidnt and Harry Jarvis
Married - on June 30 at Elmira, Alberta Allegeier and Aaron Miller.
