Mon 21st.. Jan / 89. Done washing. Arthur B. called to invite us to Oyster Supper.
Tues 22nd.. M.W. went to Toronto. I drove Ida over to Dan Brays to go to supper. So he called B.4. going for Bertha & asked me what to do so he tossed copper to see if she should go so he went & they called for me. Had a lovely time. Just us there at Dan B with Arthur. Had supper then Arthur washed dishes & Dave helped wipe & we had a jolly time Had nuts & taffy & sang & laughed till 12. It moon light coming home.
Wed 23rd.. Dan came over in morn & I cleaning windows & he talked to me then he came in & helped peal potatoes Then he went out & was going but talked till dinner was ready so came in and ate dinner. Then went down to see Janes presents & talked all P.M. till 5. telling me his trouble about B.D. his father etc. I went to bed at 10.30 Archie S came & He & I went to teachers meeting only 6 their.
Thur 24th.. Had callers to see Jane. Harry, Gusy & Charlotte Bray. It lovely day. Arthur & Dave came & us had a big sing. They stayed till 11.30.
Frid 25th.. Jan Done churning & got through. Then after dinner Jane E.M. & I drove up to Burlington It lovely day then went to Will Clines for tea. They sent over for Kate Blanchard & we had a nice time just through tea when Will Alton came for Kate to go to Litterary meeting but didn't go we Had violin music & stayed till 10.30 Had a nice time. Got home at 11.
Sat 26th.. Hurly burly to get E.M. breakfast to go to Toronto on 1st train. Jane went over home & took Blondie all day. We got through work and E.M. came home for tea. John Forfar with him. Intended going to temperance lecture but to late. I sang then went to bed 10.
