so was delayed some minutes on lake. Got in 10.40 went up to office but Will not there so done shoping & went up to GA's for dinner found Eliz Forfar there & Will sick. After dinner helped Annie then it time to go to boat. Marlon & Ada on it to come home together Had a lovely sail Annie & Will came up with us & Will very sick. E.M. & Jane & Blondie met us & Will & E.M. went in dry store & got some stimulent. To bed soon as could get there terribly tired.

Sun Aug 4th.. It Quarterly meeting Sun. Mr W. Pa & Annie drove to Palermo. S. & Alf came for dinner. Had a sing then they went at 3 I had a sleep & all alone in eve. Ida & I went for walk in eve then all in garden Will Annie & I on sofa talking . It 11 & to bed.

Mon 5th.. They went down on 1st.. train. Done washing. Ida over to A Brays & I called for her & we went to Kennedy's to see Mrs Jackson Dave came home with us. Wanted to know if we could go on excursion to Grimsby.

Tues 6th.. Went to B class M.L. & I saw B on street she not going to class she seemed very stiff just as if D. had warned her not to tell me any news. Only Mrs R & us there.

Wed 7th.. Alf came down for Ida to go up to help S. thrash. I went to Bronte to get ride down to B with him. Went in to Dorlands & spent the evening Lila Dudley there They came up road with me.

Thur 8th.. Picking berries on shares Lila & Bertha came up late. Pa & Mr W started for Toronto & Scarboro & New Castle driving with Kittise. E.M. & Jane & I wanted to go to M.P. garden party but had no buggy. Ada B called & I walked 1/2 way home with her. I so lonely sat down on road & thinking. Got to bed 9.

Frid 9th.. Busy all day trying to catch up with work.

Sat 10th.. E.M. & Jane went up to Street to help thrash. M.L. not well so I kept very busy all day baking & making raspberry vinegar till 4. Annie came home off 6 train. M.L. & I went to practise. Had a good sing. Arthur came home with me he hunting Dave & Archie drove ML home. Dave here but didn't
