& such laughing. S. had the Job to wash it off boys faces. & in the mean time we putting some stuff in her bed. & when I went to bed there mine was all up set & pillows put to foot of bed.
Tues 17th.. Gertie over in A.M. to help S & I with thrashers & Wolsley helped chuck. Just had them for dinner. Then I went over home for my shawl strap which I forgot Sun eve. with my valice too but Phil carried valice over after having horse put away Sun eve. Alf drove me home & I had so much to plan & think about then got sick in night & couldn't sleep. Ida & I got ready for
Wed 18th.. Toronto & E.M. drove us up & such a terrible crowd at station to go to Exh. Frank & Ed. Joe Dave Arthur & two more. It very cold. We got with Bray girls, & could hardly get a seat but did. I not well but went. We found Allie Lovekin so went through fancy walk & had a glorious time met Liz Forfar & Wes. was with them. Then Annie came up after 4 O'clock & Ida, Allie, Annie, & I all stayed for fire works. Ida & Dave, & Arthur & {Annie?} & Allie & Frank & Joe & I, had reserve seats It rather cold. Then all went to city together but Allie & F. Arthur Dave & Joe put us girls in street car to go up to G.A.'s Had to sleep on floor. Eliz. has fever. M.W. sitting up all eve.
Thurs 19th.. Ida & I went down town shoping till noon then I took valice & went to Union Station to go to Exib. while Ida went to Aunt Eliza's I to late to find Phil so found Frank & went through {poultry?} with him & Mrs McCraney & Mrs McCay It started to rain so went to office & Phil & Archie S. came along so went to catch 5 O'clock train but couldn't get through gate so went & stayed for 7. Phil & I walked through palace & had our tea & went to 7 train. & it raining had to wait so long met Geo & Charlotte Bumby so got together & had a good time coming home. It very dark & raining so Mr Tayberell lent his lantern to us saw a man in fence corner & he cross said what was we looking at, would give us a peck in the nose if we didn't go on.
