Thursday, 12
Done chores and sheared 24 sheep. Mrs. W. Ewing and Loyd here in afternoon. Beauiliful day. Cool breeze.
Friday, 13
Cultivating and rolling corn ground in forenoon. Brock got foshes drill and sowed it in afternoon. Harrowed it. Very hot sullry day. A little thunder shower about six.
Saturday, 14
Cultivating and harrowing rest of corn field. Brock chopped a little. He and I to town at night. Fine and warm.
Sunday, 15
Brock to church at night. Fine and hot.
