June MONDAY, 9
Brock done chores and cultivating rape ground on other place in forenoon. Da very miserable lame hip. and crass cultivating in afternoon. Beautiful day.
TUESDAY, 10
Brock finished cultivating rape ground. in forenoon then cultivating for corn in corner field in afternoon. Da cultivating + harrowing on corn ground too. Brock to town at night. Mr. Henderson here in evening. Beautiful day but hot.
WEDNESDAY, 11
Done chores. Drawing out manure for potatoes in forenoon and planting them in afternoon Brock and I to town at night. Dr. Ferrier out to see Da. His hip very painful. Lovely day.
