June MONDAY, 23

Brock cultivating on rape ground in forenoon. To town in afternoon get team and Wiley shod. Da finished ploughing the strip by ditch. Beautiful day.

TUESDAY, 24

Cultivating rest of corner field in morning Rolled, harrowed and sowed it to millet in afternoon. Ma and I to town in afternoon Fine and hot. Storm went round about seven o'clock but only a little shower here.

WEDNESDAY, 25

Scuffled and hoed 11 rows of mangels in forenoon. Brock chopping in afternoon and choring. Dull and misting turning to rain about noon. Rained all afternoon and evening.
