Thursday, 23
Brock ploughing in corner field all day. Da finished field rest of Jack’s at noon, then ploughing in corner field in afternoon. Roy, Georgie, Elwin, Ross & Rose here for supper. Beautiful warm day.
Friday, 24
Ploughing in corner field. Brock took me down to dance in town at night. Fine but hazy and looking like rain.
Saturday, 25
Started to plough but only just a short time when heavy rain started. Raining nearly all day. Brock chopping and choring. Ma came down for me this morning. Stayed with Beckie.
Sunday, 26
Brock to church at night. Dull and cloudy. Da over to Mc Isaacs in afternoon but they were away.
