16. To butter 48 cts. Farquherson put in 1 load hay
17. Fine day. Far. " two loads, hay. Had a paper from Far." Mexio Herald.
18. A pretty good congregation. Alick Scott preached. Mr. & Mrs. Far Robertson called.
19. Birdie washed. Rosie 5 lb. stew 30. To 1 pan bread 20. yeast 5. sugar at John A.'s 9 lbs 50. 75
20. Our young folk went to Templee Pic Nic
21. Hot day to 1 pan bread 20. starch 10. 30
22. Heavy rains for two or three hours. 70 1/2 pm. two cans salmon 25. Kate Roy Jimie was here to dinner. I gave her 50 cts for butter. she will bring it on Sunday. 20 50 50
23. There was very heavy rain today. Had a letter from Mrs Kerr Alexandria. Uncle Don and Hadny were here. To 8 1/2 lbs stew {Bonies?} Dr. & Mrs. Rogers called. I baked in oven. Got flour yesterday at Willies 2.25. 52
24 Rain all forenoon. Cleared up at 3 P.M. D. Roy's brought the butter. Jimie gave me 700
25 Cloudy day. An average congregation. Morning and evening. C. E.'s of South Branch were down.
26 Fine day. Jimie cut home meadow. Birde washed.
27. Cool bright. To 1 doz eggs 10. 2 1/2 lb cheese 25. butter 1 lb green tea 5. 1/2 lb Black tea 25. sugar 25. molasses. coa oil 41/2 lb roast 35 cts salt 10. Minn Clark & her cousin Mr. Hamilton took dinner here. Mrs. Kerr & daughter Jessie & Mr. McPhee came at 2 P.M. to remain over night. Boys put in 2 loads of hay from our medow.
28. Was raining at 5 A.M. Nov 4 P.M. Still raining. To 4 1/2 lbs steak at {Bowie?} 45 cts. 1 doz eggs 20. The Alexandria guest here yet. 55

2. Getting Pa ready for the Springs.
3. Pa left at 7 A.M. Mr. J.C.B. left for Cornwall Murdy for Lochiel. Birdie went to a C.E. pic nic at Stone House front
4. Rain last night, dull all day. To sulphur fly poison 25. Sent $2.00 by Tassie Smith to Eatons for shoes for the girls 2.25
5. Went with Mr. Given to Woman Meeting at Jimie Dingwalls My offering 25. Birds 10. 35
6. To 3. lbs cheese 30
7. Jimie took Marion to Lancaster to dentist.
8. Fine day. A large congregation.
9. Mrs. Jack McPherson & Mifs Gray took tea with us To sugar 25. cheese 20. Paid Tassie 25 for Express on girls’ shoes. 70
11. Rain all day.
11. Rain all night. Pa came home.
12. All our going but Ran. went to the Sabbath S. pic nic. Each boy took a buggy , And one of the girls Kemp was here and tuned the piano. 25 cts to a friend. Entertainment in St A Hall. 25
13. To sugar 25. Pa is not well since he came home. 25
14. Fine day. Boys working at farm. Salway put in 1 load of hay. To 7 loaves bread 35. to 2 lamp chimnies one 15. on 8 = 23 Sent a letter and some papers to Far. on Wednesday postage on same 9. Medecine for Pa. from {Moren?} 35 23 X50

16. Washed. it looks like rain. To 1 pan bread To 100 flour 2.40 Killed an old hen x 20 x2.40
17. Mrs J Dingwall & Mifs Dingwall were here baluing the goods for the North West. Bird & Marion are to tea at John A.'s To 1 can peaches 20. Pa is not any better. To 1 Bottle brandy 1.50. 20 1.50
18. Pa some today. To cheese 30cts. To 5 1/2 lb butter 1.04 30 1.04 10.52
