Thursday Nov. 26th/08 fair. W.B. hauled manure 4 lds went to Harveys for crates I bgt I went to town bgt glass and hardware. $1.24. drugs. 60¢.

Friday nov 27th fair & cool. W Batty hauled manure 4 lds. I did chores & put in storm windows & put in some glass. bred E.P. Keepsake 4th to Magnificent

Saturday 28 fine. W.B. & Harry cleaned box stalls and hauled 3 lds manure I went to town bgt a ticket for Chicago. $14.50, bgt hardware 28¢ Oil on saw. 25¢. Candles. 10¢ got a pair of shoes.

Sunday 29th fair. M.J. Junie Bessie & I went to church in morning Children to S.S. col. 02 I took mother & Baby to Cemetry. bred Kyma 4th to E.P. Ringleader 3rd

Monday 30th Dull & wet. W. Batty took 21 bgs grain to mill. 15 oats. 5 barley. 1 peas I chored in morning and started to Chicago on G.T.R. Train my supper cost. 35¢ berth. 2.00 St cars. 10¢

Tuesday Dec 1st cold. Arrived at Chicago at 9 a.m. breakfast 25¢ dinner 25. supper 25 bed 50. We attended the Annual meeting of Suffolk Association. mt Malone 25.
