Tuesday 7th. Cutting and drawing Rafters. Pulled Thrashed Turnip Seed.

Wednesday 8th. Stewart helping to lay down Plates on barn Peeling potatoes etc.

Thursday 9th. Stuart helping with barn

Friday 10th. Saturday 11th. Stewart helping. Sunday 12th.

Monday 13th. Stewart helping.

Tuesday 14th. Bought of L.& Ruby. 4 lbs of Coffee 4/8 d. 1 lb of Tea 3/9 d. 1 lb of Soda 3 d. - 4/2 d 1/2 lb of Saltpetre 2 Bars of Soap 3/6

Wednesday 15th. 11/2 Dozen Herrings of Iden Goble /6d. Shingle making.

Thursday 16th. Shingle making

Friday 17th.

Saturday 18th. Bought at L.& Ruby one Dollars worth of Sugar 3 axes at 6.30 d each.

Sunday 19th.

Monday 20th. Salter returned one day on account of his road work. Father at Reeder raising - shingle making Machine for father from John Goble.

Tuesday 21st. Salter returned second days work.

Wednesday 22nd 1 dozen herrings from Stewart 1 s. 10 from Iden Goble 9 d.

Thursday 23rd.

Friday 24th.

Saturday 25 By Fred from L.& Rubys 30 lb of Rice at 41/2 11.3 d. 2 lbs of Coffee 2/6 a. 1 Do Candles 1 s. 1 d.

  • Note: If a line on one page appears to carry over on the same line on the next page, please check the next page and (if applicable) transcribe both pages together as if they are one page. Type your unified transcription under the first of the two pages.
