July 1st Father returned from Shantzs. 3 weeks.
1857
June Monday 22 na. Sturgeon of J Goble one Dollar ten cents.
25th. Doditto of Stewart one Dollar twenty cents. Fish for Stewart 14 lbs 70 cents D D 16lbs Iden Goble mendning Brothers boots for Doller.
August 18th. Began to cut Fall wheat Finished on lst of Sept.
31st. James Stewart 87 lbs of flour being part pay for cutting Spring wheat. Began to cut spring wheat on the 27th. Finished 29. Cleaned and sent 91/2 Bush. of fall wheat to mill.
September
1st. Finished carting fall wheat.
2nd. 71 lbs of flour to John Goble being part pay for cutting spring wheat. Stewart cut my grass seed. not Paid.
7th. Bought of Fenwick 421/2 lbs of fish ro be paid in flour
8th. Commenced threshing with
