Sarah & I went to prayer meeting in evening. Enjoyed it very much. Mr. Ferguson there.
Wed. 25th. I was picking cherries when Mrs. Ferguson came after having left Mr. F. at station to go to Hamilton. E.M. brought him down with him at noon. They stayed for dinner - had green peas, then went home, took some currants & goose berries with them. {He} had prayers before leaving. We wore our crinolets last ev'g to prayer-meeting & as we got in Mr. Fer. buggy ( he overtook us going down, we also rode back with him) mine flew up below my dres. Dont think he noticed - hope not anyway.
Thurs. 26th. Picking bl. currants. Mrs. Lucas Tilly & Arty came after donner. Then Jean Jones came. Walter Sherdan drove her down but did not come in. Sarah & I went to Ingledew's in ev'g after dark. Edith, her ma, & Aunt Clarrie Buck came to Church corner with us. When we left them we heard John & W Spears returning from Oakville. John had been to Dr's. The M.'s went home with Mrs. Lucas. We went to tell them to come & help pick currants to-morow.
