Mother's When walking but found no one at home. Went to Young People's Meeting. Found a good many older folks had come to hear Charlie's address on "The League of Nations - Canada's part. Very good address and audience seemed to appreciate it. Mr. McQueen was to come over after meeting but called at 9 and at 9.30 And we were not home. Meeting long drawn out.

Tuesday Nov. 9th.

Mild Spring temperature in the Morning but raining in the afternoon and quit cool at night. Knit 6 inches and the belt of dress for Frances. Did short-hand and French. Went down town in the afternoon. Mrs. Pearce gave Notice yesterday that She is going to be married and will leave on 8th December. Over 5 years in the office. Will be hard to get any one to take her place. Mr. McQueen came over after tea and we played Seven-Up until 12 p.m.
