Current Page Transcription [edit] [history]
Mr. Bell called in the morning and Mr. Caldwell in the evening. Keith and Victor Caldwell were here selling Sanitarium stamps. Went down town in the morning with cheques for Charles and in the afternoon for the Mail. Charles sitting up a while in the morning and again in the evening. I went over to call on Mrs. Hooper (still in bed) and show her the knitted dress. Rumor that Cassie Pollock is to be married. Was invited to a tea at Mrs. Oliver's but could not go.
Wednesday Dec. 8th.
Wrote 3 letters for Charles. He got up about 11 a.m. and stayed up until 10 p.m. Typed 30 follow letters, re Mrs. Ferguson Fund, addressed and posted them when I went down for the Mail. Miss Pearce called to say good-bye and Mr. Bell called also. Wrote to Tena Boyd, Jean Hyland and Helen Macpherson. Beautiful day. Cooler at night.
