town in afternoon. Came home and after tea mended some of Dorothy's clothes that are to be sent to her.

January 11 Sunday

Went to church and to S.S. Very nice day. Mother was at church and came home with me. Stayed until Sunday School time when she went over to Wm. Halliday's. Storming when we went to church at night. Charlie, Alice, Duncan, Isabel and Mr. & Mrs. Tuer were up after church. I typed a Resolution re Thanksgiving day, for Charles to send to St. Mary's after Sunday School. Collection for Armenian Relief $56.76

January 12 Monday.

Tp Typed School paper for Bud and two recitations for Blanche Gillis. Bud came up and shovelled off the walk to pay for my work. Sent away Armenian cheque. Went down to see Mrs. Clarke but she was asleep. Went to Miss Milne's to see about purple dress. Called to see Mrs. Crow. Then went to Manse to hear rehearsal of Debating points by Miss Pollock and Mr. Millhouse. Did up parcels to send to Dorothy and wrote to her. After tea went to Methodist Church to hear
