leaving on the afternoon train for home (Barrie) Nice day. Then I called to see Mrs. Blair. Mr. Blair very poorly and was right in bed. Had been somewhat better but took bad in the night. (heart) Called to see Jean Bell who seemed to be fairly bright. Then called to see Jean Johnston but found her out and Called in Mrs. (Dr.) Mair who has been ill with quinsy. Walked up with Mrs. Ferguson. She says Miss Murray Contemplates leaving Havergal and going to Nova Scotia to teach with a friend of hers. Wrote to Dorothy after dinner and after tea to Mrs. Leitch (who is in Cleveland having gone over there from Hamilton, where she had gone to attend her mother's funeral, to attend the funeral of her sister-in-law who died suddenly of heart trouble) Nell, Douglas, Mr. Atkinson and Janet Feehan (Atkinson) whose baby boy arrived on Jan. 24th. Quite frosty again to-night so shall sleep inside.
