June
T. 20th. Five Bushls of potatoes of C F S. at 30 cts p B. not paid. Loging and in the afternoon planting potatoes Robert draging.
W. 21st. planted potatoes finished at noon. Sowed turnip seed Sweedish and Aberdeen half and half to the extent of four tea cupfuls Mr Hugoes cow to Bull.
Th. 22nd. Last evening Mother was struck with paralasis in her left side. Mr D Davids cow to Bull. Commenced road work under Richard Hayden. Father Robert & self have ten days between us. Robert and myself on all day
F. 23rd. Robert F. & Self working on the Road.
S. 24th. Robert & Fred on the Road this finished our work on this road for this year.
M. 26th. Robert commenced to plow for turnips in the field where the bush was last chopped. Self in after. making fence. Mr J. Goble fixed the clock alltered the lambs and brought home a night stool that he made for Mother, then took a pig home.
T. 27th Made a gate finishing the fence between the oats and turnips. Cabbage plants of Hayden 26.
W. 28th. Fixed gate posts and a fence etc. Tom Cummings had a pig he paid Robert by giving him a due bill on E. Gordon. Cabbage plants of J. Goble 35.
Th. 29th. Cut a small patch of grass at the end of the garden made a small piece of fence where we had a way into the oat field. fixing old log fence etc. Clemmens on the hill with a cow to Bull.
F. 30th. This fay there has been a great pic nic down at Gobles. Robert & Fred there Plowing draging etc. Salter two pigs home.
