Th. 31t. Planted 230 Cabbage plants. Planted Beans. Planted Cucumber seed. Planted a few potatoes for early use.
June
F 1st. Last evening by Phi;. received one centre.pin Big Pinion. Two small Pinions & to roller bearers from Owen Sound. Paid:Seven Bushels of Potatoes from Christ Schwendker One Pair of Coburgs for Fred from George 23/4 D.
S 2nd. 1 dozn Herrings of Uncle Iden 9 d. 2 Bushls of Barley to H. Willimere at 50 cts per B. finished setting posts at the back of the garden. Commenced planting potatoes.
M. 4th 16 lbs of barley to Willimere.
Fr. 8th. Craigs plowing with our oxen
S 9th Craigs draging with our Oxen
Monday 11th. 1 Dozen Herrings of Uncle Iden 9 d. Fred loging for Willimere.
W 13th. Finished planting potatoes.
Th 14th. Soleing my Coburgs 100.75 cts by J. George.
M 18th From Iden fish 4 d.
T 19th. Made a bargain with Fred to chop me two acres of Bush at five Dolrs. per Acre and eight days is the time allowed for an acre every day over time he has to give me three yorkers for his board. He commenced this morning.
W. 20th. Fred working. Sowed my Turnip seed.
Th 21st Settled with William Telford Blacksmith His A/C against me $20.641/2. My A/C against him for Pease Cash and Wheat $16.251/2. Balance due him Four Dols. thirty nine cts. Mr John Goble altered Buck and Lion and the old sows pig. Fred chopping.
F 22nd. John Goble two pigs 75 cents each.
