J. 31st Mr John Goble planeing. Salter working at his job. Fred at his. Not working in the Harvest. Received a letter from Christie & Corbett containing my old Notes. Sent in my bill for Cord wood delivered last winter to the Trustees of the Good Templars Hall Amount Two Dolrs & a half.

August

W. 1st Mr John Goble siding front of the new house. Salter working at his turnip job. Fred commenced his chopping and finished his underbrushing. One trout from Iden

Th. 2 Salter working at his turnip job. Fred chopping. Mr Goble working at the siding. recommenced in the wheat. Omitted stating that we cut 36 stooks in the first half day; and today 50.

F 3rd Salter finished his job of Turnip hoeing

S 4th. Fred working. Mr J Goble siding the east end of new house. Cut Fifty-five stooks of Fall wheat.

M. 6th. Cut Fifty-five Stooks of fall wheat Fred chopping Mr J. Goble siding & fixing windows

J. 7th Finished cutting wheat in the field next to Craigs; cut 47 stooks today which makes a total of 243 stooks in this field. Mr Goble fixing windows. Salter commenced his job at the pease. Davidson also commenced to cut at the rate of three Bushels per acre for all the cuts.

W 8th. Mr J Goble fixing windows in the new house Fred chopping half day, Salter & Davidson and Son at the pease.
