W. 28th.

Th. 29th. Commenced planting potatoes. Agreed with Mr David to let him have the wheat stubble in Phils upper field a patch for potatoes & barn and the rest to be sown to Oats. I have to find half the oats for seed get 1/2 the oats standing. The potato patch he is to pay me at the rate of 3 Dolrs. per acre rent. Killed the calf that came of the cow I bought of Stuart Mr Goble Butchered it.

F. 30th Mr John Goble took the veal to Southampton and sold it for $3.49 cts. the forty nine cents he took for his own trouble and paid me the 3 Dolrs.

S. 31st. Paid Robert three Dolrs. of the five he paid to Fred for me. Robert my oxen all day.

S. 1st.

M. 2nd. Loging at Salters. Robert my oxen all day.

T. 3rd. Robert my oxen all day. Finished planting potatoes.

W. 4th. Self & Oxen all day to Robert.
