25th EW Seen a Lot of Gulls going Down they stopt at the air-hole at the Kit Kit Island 2 hound crossed and went Down the ice they went Back again Drew 2 Loads of Hay from Na-Houtas Island Drew some wood not very well to Day

26th Windy from the North Freezing cold

27th EW cold Randolph came had Millers Almanack

28th Gordon and Dany Spink came Lewis children here Gave them some Good Hay for their sick cow took our sleigh

29th Intercalary Day Leap Year E Wind Fine Franky Laplante Married to Day Drew the Rest of the stack from Na-Houtas Island

1st of March St Davids Day the Festival of the Welsh E Wind They are Drawing stones to the Lighthouse

2nd Ash Wednesday E Wind cold Fine I eat no meat to Day nor Good Friday these 2 Days I Keep

3rd of March 1892 E Wind Fine Leander and Hugh Ann to Dundee Bought 3 1/2 lbs Tea 7..15 Calico 5 yards of overall stuff Brought home the clock Brought Joh Lemay a pail of Milk Got Lamp Fixed Made a Whippletree split some Rails Wrote a Letter to night For to send to the Toronto News with a Dollar in it Put in no annexation Keep away the Yankees Hugh Ann stopt

4th Fine Drew wood

5th Leander put the Letter in the P Office Registered got a certificate *Cow Greece here going to Lancaster for ash

6th E Wind Fine

7th E Wind Began to cut ice put in the storehouse Cow Grease here to night

8th cut more ice put it in covered wih marsh Hay

8th EW Martin came for the sleigh Gave him axehandle stuff to make Thawing Livinia Bad with the Toothache some Drops of Rain some snow to night Ducks and crows Flying
