go to Tannery at 8. meet {Albert?} Currie by Seniors. {illegible} his face all gose{goes?} & eye black. Ship to L{illegible} 100 Taunid hides 3608. the {illegible} might bring {6755?}* which gives 231$ ovn 1/2 or nearly 53 41/100 %. I get 3 sides out of the 33 {ads sole bsay?} punt. {illegible} for rolllis, the 3 also bring enough {illegible} from chippawa. I get no weight {illegible} if, inspecter might of the 3 {also?} i get {aw?} 1/87 1/75 1/72. the 3 {also?} might 65 1/2, or a little over 55 1/2 %. give old {burns?} $100 {illegible}. Pay {installment?} $9 my {illegible} in full to date.

cold & mild

go to Tannery at 8 1/2. meet R Brown. he goes to Toronto on cars. Hugh & i put up the small whistle beside the large one. I go {stop?} to dinner at 2 {illegible} note for $114 to Lyman {Bros?}. due 8th april next. {illegible} brigh Hide 43$ {illegible}.

Pay G wooding low {purchase?}{squeez between lines, using add symbol.} $30 on {a/c?} this a.m.
