APRIL TUESDAY 11 1876

Lovely day

Go to Tannery at 8. Jim Holohan at work. Put down Drain to Brun House. Take Cleases Stage for StC. Fare 50 cts. See Calvin Brown, about Montrars evidence make fresh bargain with Scott about his Hides buy all his No 1 Steers from 58 to 90 # @ 7 cts. & all No 1 Heifer Hides from 58# at 6½ cts 2 months. See Lawder "tight." Cigars & oysters 75 cts, Candy 50 cts, Fare home on Cars 87 cts. Worden goes on to Rockport & Rochester tells me about party at Rockt going with him to Buffalo. Mrs Hudson come down from StC. Mrs. Milloy comes home. Pay Worden $400 this am leaving balance due of $500 in all

APRIL WEDNESDAY 12 1876

Raining

Go to Tannery at 8. Talk with Paffard Heny & Clement about Bruk. Get letter from TP&Co last night to draw I draw by Letter today send my cheque for $2400. Sign accomodation note to TP&Co for $1600. Blank & return to them by Mail. Get telegram from TP&Co about Hides. Also telling me to Keep $60 out of Dft money. Get letter from McArthur to send 600 more Hides.
