NOVEMBER MONDAY 27 1876
Go to Tannery at 7½. Mr Nash comes at 10. Finishes Invoice Books this P.M. I pay him $400 on a/c of 3 days work @ $200 pr day. J.T. Kirby & Geale come in & tell us Hamilton & sons of Toronto are coming here to start business in Steel Works.
Work at Gas Pipes all day.
Cars change time this Am. leave here at 840 A.M. & R_ o 6 P.M.
NOVEMBER TUESDAY 28 1876
Go to Tannery at 8. Work at Gas Pipes etc. Kirby & Geale come down again. I stay at work all day. Go home at 6 3/4 P.M. Effie Milloy spends Eve'g takes dinner at my place I give her 1st lesson on Guitar & see her home. Write H Carson today. Get letter from EJ Emery to go to B on Thursday, answer cant go. Lend Mrs Courtney $100. 2 Cars containing 4 Bbls Extract arrives this a.m. C
Get cheque from TP&Co for 6908 to pay Dfts. on Coal Tar 56 Bbls
