3rd of April 1895 Very Fine a Flurre of snow cranes came Boiling and Sugaring for the First about 50 lb running well Sport eat Poison as he Takes Great Fits cutting sawing splitting wood Ionia to the sugar-Bush
4th Fine Gordon came and went off Boiling in the Bush Found a Fox Lots of Ducks Flying
5th very Fine Killed a snake Made 50 lb of Sugar to Day Fan-Tailed Blackbirds came
6 Gordon came was to Cornwall Bought overalls 75 Tin Dipper 5 a cap 35 Pigs out seen a Flock of Wild Geese Going East a Lot of Shooting this Morning to the South side East Wind Fortunate Day
7th Palm Sunday on This Day of the Month Uncle John Departed 1893 Gordon went to church and went to see Mr Rankin who is very Lo he Found 2 Foxes of ours Boiling Brought 10 Gallons home
