11th of August 1895 Fine Fernandez came Genie came Fernandez took 1 of the Guns Moses Lemay here took 5 lb Butter Payed 25 he owed Thunder Rain Lightning

12th Fine at the Ditch cutting oats the East Peice in the Upper Field Louis Hence and Mifs Howard here for Gordon to go to work cutting oats

13th Fine at the Ditch cutting oats and cut the Green Oats next the Bush one of the Ducks Dead at the River yesterday

14th at the Ditch putting in oats Tramping in the Mow Genie went off to night one of the sheep Dead John H went to Summerstown Fishing to night

15th Rained Fine Lets the Cows pigs in to Day and the Horses They are Mauling

16th Fine Day Mr John Tyo and Mr Allan a a Boy of Jo Lemays had a Drop of Good stuff They are ----- John H went up with them to Dundee with Sissy & Ionia putting in Marsh hay Pigs went to {cut off}

19th Bismarck's Birth Day 1870 Fine Leander and John H went to Dundee Bought 250 Wt of Flour 1 Dollars worth of Tea Braces Shot Powder Cash 2 Tubs of Butter to J Tyo Stanley and I cutting hay along the Fence Grubbing alders and Willows took a very Bad Pain in my hip high Wind Rain and some Hail

20th Fine coole air Eclipse to Day New Moon a new Boat went up cut some Brush at the Wet Place

21st Windy some Rain Fine cool a Man for Butter cutting Brush Taking in Beans
