Sun Sept 16th clear cool in morning afer noon warm

Mon Sept 17th clear and hot 90 deg Bilton was here this fore noon. Wiliam Tiffin got a lot of Steers pas here to day

Tue Sept 18th clear and hot 92 deg not a cloud to to be Seen or wind. Mr Newcomb was here this fore noon for a Shovel Sarah calld this evening S was telling me Mr Walkinghood had a telingm me he got a telegram for Somden he wife was dieing at the hospital

Wed Sept 19th clear in the fore noon. after noon cloudy. I went down to the old place to see Maud we heard She was Sick She is looking bad. Dick braght me home

Thu Sept 20th cloudy and rain Mary and Catharine was here a little Spell. Jane Butler this morning about 2 AM

Fri Sept 21st cloudy and hot. I Jane Butlers funeral there was about 60 buggys there Will has a Sad house to go too

Wed Sept 26th cloudy two light Showers one in the morning between seven and eight oclock one this evening at four P.M. Sarah came and brought a bowl of Soop
