July, 1925. 4 Saturday. Rain this morning Hot this afternoon. We all went to the Big Circus at Kitchener. We had our dinner with Mr. & Mrs Bert Hilliard The circus was very good but we were tired out at night and glad to back to the peaceful, quiet farm. 6 Sunday. Hot and sultry. Walter went to church & S.S this morning. We went down to Grandpa Maurer's for tea. Hebels, Hamels & Jefferson's were there 6 Monday. Very hot. The men brought in a load of sweet clover takings. They hoed corn Vernon helped Ella do the washing Edna, Mildred & Doris called this afternoon. 7 Tuesday. Sultry & cloudy. The men hoed corn and turnips. Walter & Earl called at Addison Reist's tonight.
