Wed May 21st - Fine day, we took our Coal stove out and cleaned the Room. Thur May 22. Finished cleaning the upstairs down, Very hot. Mr Huff out fixing the pumps, heavy thunder storm at night. Fri May 23 - Very hot and sultry. Men are cleaning The Cistern out, came a thunder storm at night. I was at Pa's in the afternoon. Sat May 24 - Very warm, and showery, we went over to Pa's in the evening. We had 41 turkeys hatched out and 38 living now. Sun May 25 - Dull and warm Uncle and Aunties went to church, I went to did not go to Fisherville as it looked like rain. Vermer Cook came home with thaw and Annie and Lizzie here. Uncle, Lizzie and I went to evening service. Mon May 26 Fine and warm we were at home. Tue May 27 - Turned quiet cold, Men working on the roads. Wed May 28 - Very cold, Aunt Nellie and I in Toronto in the afternoon. I went to Prayer Meeting. Mr John Milne here all night.
