Callers- Enoch & Irvin Schneider, Andrew & Norman Henderson and Eph Snyder. 7 Tuesday. Cloudy. Rain & sleet this afternoon. We butchered and old sow here today for Emerson Krauter. 8 Wednesday. Mild & dreary. We butchered 1 old sow here for Eph. Snyder and made Emerson's summer sausage. 9 Thursday. Cold & stormy Walter shipped hogs at Elmira and stayed all day. Addison & Harvey Reist helped Vernon draw manure this p.m. 10 Friday. Fine day. We butchered another sow for Eph. Snyder and made 200 lbs of summer sausage. Harvey & Addison Reist helped finish the manure and were her for supper.
