February, 1928. 11 Saturday. Mild & raw. Snowed all day. Vernon helped in Schwindt's bush this afternoon. Harold & Ella drove over to Ezra Maurer's this afternoon and stayed for tea 12 Sunday. Beautiful, clear, cold day. Walter, Ella, Vernon & Harold went to church & S. School today. Harold went home with Grandpa Maurer. 13 Monday. Lovely day. Ella did her washing & ironing. Walter & Vermon went to Elmira this morning. This p.m. Vernon helped in Edmund Schwindts bus and Walter called at Spie's and Koepke. Tonight Walter & Earl went down to Josiah Brubacher and Ella stayed at Miller's. Vernon spent the evening at Schwindt's. 14 Tuesday. Dreary. Rain & snow. Walter & Ella helped to butcher at Louis Miller's today. Vernon came down for supper too.
