April, 1928 28 Saturday. Clear, cold & windy Walter went to Elmira and brought the metal ceiling from the C.N.R. depot. Vernon took the sap paw, etc. over to Otto Miller's this afternoon. We all went up to Sim. Weaver's tonight. 29 Sunday. Fine day. Walter & Ella & Vernon went to church & S.School this afternoon and to Ges. Schneider's for tea. Vernon & Ella got some hepatica and spring beautys in Reists bush. 30 Monday. Very windy & showery. Walter helped Ella do the washing this morning and was spreading manure this p.m. Vernon was rolling the sweet clover field this afternoon. Ella fixed up the hot bed and sowed asters, celosias, verbenas, stocks, balsoms, pyrethrum and lettuce seeds. Married - On Apr. 28 at St.{name?} Dr. J.A.King and Miss Welhelmine Day.
