June, 1928 30 Saturday. Lovely warm day. Walter took a load of grist to Floradale. We had company today - Mr. & Mrs. Colson Jefferson, Roy & Lois of Kitchener, Mrs.H.G.Rebel and son Glen of {Bridgeport?} and Mrs. Mabel Stone of Lima, Ohio. July, 1928. 1 Sunday. Warm summer's day. We went to Sunday school this morn-ing and went to Waterloo with Sim. Weaver's and had our dinner at Lincoln Weaver's. Vernon went to League tonight with Irvin Schneider. Ezra Maurer & Harvey Reist visited us tonight. 2 Monday. Hot and sultry. Walter was drawing manure and Vernon plowed. Ella Miller visited Ella this afternoon. 3 Tuesday. Threatening. Walter finished the manure and scuffed the mangels. Vernon finished plowing summer fallow. Walter & Ella spent the evening at Earl's.
