Vernon plowed and Walter sowed some wheat this afternoon. Mr. & Mrs. Sam. Umbach called here tonight. Margaret Wagner (Grethel) visited Ella this afternoon. 13 Thursday. Cloudy & drizzly & cool. Walter went to Elmira this morning and sowed wheat this afternoon. Vernon plowed all day. Annie Schneider called on Ella this afternoon. 14 Friday. Cloudy, cool & windy. The men were cultivating & rolling the other field for wheat. Walter & Ella were at Earl's tonight. 15 Saturday. Thunderstorms & rain last night. Cloudy & windy. The men cut the {?} today. Callers - Louis Miller, Sam Horst, Harvey Reist and Pete {Skerer?}. Vernon went to Elmira tonight with Irvin Schneider.
