October, 1928. 22 Monday. Cloudy & windy. Walter helped to thresh at Earl Miller's this morning and part of the afternoon. Vernon plowed this a.m. and helped to cut corn at Eph. Snyder's. Tonight Walter & Ella & Charlier Miller went to Elmira church where Rev. Frye preached again. 23 Tuesday. Cloudy & drizzly. The men plowed this forenoon. This p.m. Vernon helped to cut corn at Eph. Snyder's. Ella spent the afternoon at Noah Miller's Tonight we were at Earl Miller's for a goose roast and didn't leave much of "Jacob" except the bones. Harvey's were there too. 24 Wednesday. Drizzly miserable weather. Ella did the washing and the men plowed. Vernon helped at Eph Snyder's again this forenoon. 25 Thursday. Showery & colder. The men were plowing today. Eva Schneider visited Ella this afternoon. Born - On Oct. 26, to Mr. & Mrs. Eph. Snyder a daughter Ruth
