Wed Jan I. New Years day. very mild and raining gently at first then heavily in the afternoon. very icy. Mother and Annie, Willie, Mary and the boys alo Elizabeth and Margaret here for the day. East wind.
Thur Jan 2. Fine and a little colder, sleighing fairly good, little rough. older Blarks here.
Fri Jan 3. Fine after a little snow last night. walks all iced. Coldest this season.
Sat Jan 4. Fine and clear and cold. Rink opened first of season.
Sun Jan 5. Fine and very cold but no wind I went to morning Church. Annie called also Mrs. Davidson. Auntie and I at {Meth?.}
Mon {Sun over it} Jan 6. Fine bright day, we washed. Willies brought pork and Sausage.
Tue Jan 7. Fine and cold. I went to the Red {Groses?}, the last meeting and no more {bo?es} needed and no more socks needed. Mrs Simpson called.
Wed Jan 8. Fine and moderately cold. Aunt Mattie out in the afternoon
Thur Jan 9 A terrific wind and blowing and very cold.
Fri Jan 10. Fine but cold and terrific wind. I went to the butchering at Henry {Bries?}. Too windy to {reeder? render?} land. Annie called, not much snow or roads would be full.
Sat Jan 11. Fine bright day and extremely cold and frosty, skating.
Sun Jan 12. Fine but cold and frosty at first. Aunt Nellie at Church. I went to evening Church.
Mon Jan 13. Fine day, much milder. I was in Toronto, called at {Sellers Grugh?}

Thur Jan 16. Fine warm day thawing a great deal. I went to Miss Edeys. W. a, meeting. Auntie Mattie and I at {mr Littles} in eve.

Sat Feb 1. Fine bright day. very cold and windy, kept Range at night for first for some time. I went to Rink Aunt Mattie at Mary Wastons, roads frozen dry and dusty.
Sun Feb 2. Fine but cold. Aunt Nellie and I at Church. I went to Willie to tea and remained for evening church. Aunt Nellie and Mattie at evening church. Mr McDonald .
Mon Feb 3. Fine bright and warm, clothes dried beautifully outdoors. roads frozen dry and dusty. I went to Mr Littles.
Tue Feb 4. Fine brigh misty rain most of day. Mrs Davison and children here. I called at Miss Edeys in evening.
Wed Feb 5. Colder and windy, but no storm. Auntie made Xmas Cake
Thur Feb 6. Fine and moderately cold. Aunties and I in {Jornels?}. I called at Aunt Lizzies Mrs Simpson. Miss Munday called.
Fri Feb. 7. Fine bright day.
Sat Feb 8. Fine and moderately warm. Mother and Annie here for tea also. John and Verner Cook. came a little fall of snow only lasted about an hour. very light.
Sun Feb 9. Beautiful bright day and {gets?} mild. Grant here for dinner. Aunt Nellie at morning church. she and I went in eve.
Mon Feb 10. Fine bright day moderately warm. We were at Mary Watsons for tea.
Tue {Thur under} Feb 11. Fine and moerately cold. I called at Mrs Little with {Snape?} in evening. Auntie at Red Cross. we kept Donald.
Wed. Feb 12 Fine bright day, roads dry and dusty.
Thur Feb 13. East wind. I went to the Carnival. rained heavily all night, raised water in the ditches. {pencil: Miss Kelly called}
Fri Feb 14. Damp and drizzling most of the day.
Sat Feb 15. Fine in afternoon Snow flurries in the morning. I had the girls for tea, Welshs, Emily Boyle, Florence James and Annie turning colder in eve.
Sun Feb 16. Fine but cold. west wind. I went to evening Church.
Mon Feb 17. Fine and moderately cold. Mary Watson here to tea. Sir Wilfred Laurier died.

Fri Feb 21. Rather misty and little flurries of damp snow.
Sat Feb 22. A strong east wind and mist then heavy rain at night. Grant came to stay all night.
Sun Feb 23. Strong west wind roads icy and watery. Grant here. went home after breakfast. Aunt Mattie and I at eve church
Mon Feb 24. Fine bright and warm, a little sloppy then frozen at night.
Tue Feb 25. Fine and mild Marjorie Ross and the baby called. dark and showery in evening.
Wed Feb 26 Fine but cold. N.W. wind roads rather rough but no snow and ice on them, yards all clear of snow. Aunt Mattie out to spend the day at Henry Bowes. I went to Carnival
Thur Feb 27. Fine and moderately cold. I walled at Willies in afternoon.
Fri Feb 28. Fine and much milder, Mr Bowes and Tammy called. Annie here in even. got up a terrific wind in night.

Sun Mar 2. Fine bright and warmer. Aunt Nellie and I at church. good walking all clear of snow and no ice on roads. Willies Mary also Ross and Marjorie called in afternoon. Aunt Nellie and I at evening church.
Mon Mar 3. Fine warm day. Aunt Mattie and I at Mr Millers funeral it was like April. yonge street all-dry.
Tue Mar 4. Fine day until afternoon it came heavy showers like spring. Aunt Nellie and I in Toronto. she called on Aunt Lizz {Lizzie} I went to the Hockey Match. girls in evening, the roads very sloppy. {pencil: Robin at Village}
Wed Mar 5. Fine and much colder. some light snow in the evening
Thur Mar 6. Fine bright but cold. I went to ask for Mr {W ms?} James in afternoon. Aunt Mattie out calling.
Fri Mar 7. A beautiful day. cold and bright. Lizzie called with Margaret. then she and Annie came in the eve - Miss Jennie Edey here for tea.
Sat Mar 8. Fine day, Aunt Mattie called at Miss Kelly's.
Sun Mar 9. Came a heavy fall of wet snow through the night, then rained gently through the day a little colder at night and frozen. I went to evening church rather blustery.
Mon Mar 10. Fine and moderately cold. I went to Hockey Match.
Tue Mar 11 Fine and milder getting sloppy.
Wed Mar 12. Fine and mild but very muddy and sloppy. Mrs Langstaff called. Mrs Lawrence, here for tea.
Thur Mar 13. Fine but very cold and windy
Fri Mar 14. Fine but cold East wind. Lucy and Henry Bowes here for tea, also {Farmy? } Bowes.
Sat Mar 15. Fair at first then started to rain about noon. East. Last skating
Sun Mar 16. Raining gently, had fallen a lot of rain in night. ditches full. Memorial window unveiled in morning. Mrs D and I at evening church. Mr McDonald was inducted in the evening.
Mon Mar 17. Rained gently and misty all day, roads very bad.
Tue Mar 18. Fine and quite mild. I went to Toronto. made .W.
Wed Mar 19. Fine and mild, I walked to Willies for a while the roads are cut in a dreadful {convolution?} but can walk on side not so bad. Annie and I in Toronto in the evening to see {C.M.C?} parade the first to arrive in a Unit. Robins here all around some in Village last week.
Thur Mar 20 Fine and mild our Furnace out by mistake so left it out until Saturday. Mabel and Hazel Welsh called.
Fri Mar 21. Fine but colder. Willie called for a while.
Sat Mar 22. Fine but cold west wind. I called at Mrs Smellies
Sun Mar 23 Fine bright day. Aunt Nellie at morning church the roads drying a little. We all went to evening church.
Mon Mar 24. Fine bright day warmer. Cleaned clothes closets. Furnace out.
Tue Mar 25. Fine and warm bought my dress and boots also each got a hat. Aunt N {Nellie} a bonnet. called on Mrs Gibson.
Wed Mar 26. Fine and warm. cleaned back Kitchen cupboards and Kitchen ceiling. also cellar way. I went to Willies in afternoon. {"Frogs out" then shut up again" in between lines}
Thur Mar 27. Came a heavy rain last night, then colder by noon.
Fri Mar 28. Fine but cold very high wind and freezing hard, we walked down to Parkinsons then Sale. I went to moving pictures at Methodist church. light Furnace.
Sat Mar 29. FIne but very cold wind, roads are dry again
Sun Mar 30. Fine but cold win. Aunt Nellie at morning church. I went to Presbyterian church. Aunt Mattie and I at evening church. George Cook returned.
Mon Mar 31. Fine but extremely cold. N.W. wind all frozen clean. we washed some things for cleaning. New time
Tue Apr I Fine but still very cold. Marjories moved their furniture.
Wed Apr 2. Fine but cold, roads dry. I went to help Marjorie to settle.
Thur Apr 3. Fine with exception of a little shower in afternoon. washed. spare rooms. Aunt Nellie white quilt also our father bed cover, took covers off feather beds. and washed ours. Annie and Elizabeth called. Aunt Mattie and I walked to Mrs {Lellioh?} to see about Miss W. {Watson?} Furnace out.
Fri Apr 4. Fien and warmer. Cleaned up chamber. Mrs Davidson in.
Sat Apr 5. Cleaned attic. put away outside doors. Aunt Mattie cleaned windows. I cleaned pictures in afternoon. Mary Watson called. George Cook here for tea. Cleaned Furnace.
Sun Apr 6. Mild with gentle rain. then fine and warm Aunt Mattie called at Mrs Sniders. we all went to evening church.
Mon Apr 7. Fine until evening it came a shower. We cleaned upstairs and cleaned all carpets with vaccum. then bought it $2.00. I took clock to R. H. and called on Mrs Charlton.
Tue Apr 8. Dull and cold a few squawls. we cleaned furniture and furnished all upstairs. rained through the night.
Wed Apr 9. Fair but dull and cold. put on ashes. at "Euchre"
Thur Apr 10. Fair but dull. after a heavy rain last night. I called at Miss Mundeys.
Fry Apr 11. Fine but cool. cleaned Cellar
Sat Apr 12. Dull and light showers. Aunt Mattie washed things for Dining room. I went with girls to tea at Elizabeths, Put Coat in storage $3.00 valued it at $100.
Sun Apr 13. A few squawls then cleared. Aunt Nellie at Church. Annie called in eve. we all went to evening Church.
Mon Apr 14.Fine and quite warm. washed and cleaned shed down part. Aunt Mattie did up. Dining Room Curtains. I went to Willies in the evening. Aunt Nellie at church.
Tue Apr 15. Fine but cool east wind. cleaned Dining Room and Kitchen washed walls. Aunt N. {Nellie} at church. I called at Miss Mundeys Annie here in evening.
Wed Apr 16. A heavy east rain last night and all day to-day driving in from east window and cellar. cleared and I went to church
Thur Apr 17. Fair with little squawls colder. Aunt N {Nellie} and I at church.
Fri Apr 18. Good Friday. fair but cold and windy. Aunt Nellie at church. Aunt Mattie and I called at Mr Littles in eve.
Sat Apr 19. Fine and warmer. did a little raking. Aunt Mattie at Mary Watsons in afternoon. Annie and I for a walk.
Sun Apr 20. A shower in morning then cleared. Aunt Nellie and I at church. Aunties and I at evening church. Easter Sunday.
Mon Apr 21. Fine bright day. Ice early in the morning. we washed our Blankets and Aunt Nellies quilt. Put in garden. Aunt Nellie called at Miss Morgans.
Tue Apr 22. Aunt Mattie Varnished Oilloths. Aunt Nellie and I dug around trees and shrubs.
Wed Apr 23. Fine bright warm day. patched paper around Bay windows Aunt Nellie and I at Way Works at the hall.
Thur Apr 24. Very cold. north-west wind. and freezing. Butter 65 cts {in pencil}
Fri Apr 25. Fine but very cold. extremely cold for time of year. freezing and blowing. we were afraid of Radiators.
Sat Apr 26. A fall of snow last night and still blowing, quite deep in places. not freezing so hard. Ice Annie Smellie and Marion called. Snow nearly all gone by night. Mary Watson called in evening. {Read?}. cheque from Ottawa V.B.
Sun Apr 27. Fine bright morning and much warmer. Aunt Nellie and I at morning church. we all went to evening church.
Mon Apr 28. Rained day most of the -day. a little chilly. Aunt Mattie and I have bad colds.
Tue Apr 29. Fine but cool. we washed as yesterday was wet. Aunt Nellie and I called on Mrs McDonald and Mrs Jee. Annie and I walked out to see Marjorie in eve. roads were dry, but very, rough and cut in places.
Wed Apr 30. Fine bright day. we got two tons Coal. $11.50.
Thur Mai I. Rinaed heavily most of the -day. then cold. very little weather for seeding.
Fri May 2. Fair but dull and windy. I went to Toronto at Aunt Lizzies for tea.
Sat May 3 Fine at first. I went for Aunt Matties clock $2.00 called at Misses Page. it commenced to rain in the evening and fell a lot in night.
Sun May 4. Fine and much warmer. Aunt Nellie at morning church. It came a thunder storm and heavy rain in the afternoon and did not clear until evening I went to church.
Mon May 5. It rained through the night then cleared and fine. I went to the church and Rectory to a meeting in eve.
Tue May 6. Fine but cold wind. I went to Willies in the afternoon and came home with Grant in the evening.
Wed May 7. Fine and warmer. farmers on the land first this week. Mary Chapman called in the evening. Lawn Mower out
Thur May 8. Fine bright day. Aunt Mattie called at Mrs Bowes. I had my dress fitted. I went to Presbyterian Concert.
Fri May 9. Fine and moderately warm. Put in garden Peas. I called at M. Watsons {Mary Watsons}. Aunt Nellie at meeting at Mrs Halls.
Sat May 10. Rained heavily from the east all day, a drifting storm {beat?} in at east.
Sun May 11. Dull and drizzling. Aunt Nellie at Church. It came a heavy shower in the afternoon then mizzling. Willie and Mary here for tea. I went to evening church.
Mon May 12. Fine and clearing but land very wet. Aunt Mattie an I up at the grave yard in the evening. Blanket took off top {in pencil}
Tue May 13. Fine and warm. the warmest day. Aunt Nellie and I in Toronto. went to Miss Mundeys in eve. Annie here Range Out
Wed May 14. Fine and very warm. Range out. yesterday first cleaned North Verandah. Auntie painted East Veranda.
Wed Thur May 15. Fine and warm. Cut all lawn. Oil store out of order.
Fry May 16. Dull at first followed by heavy rain in evening started fire in the Range. Mr Simpson died.
Sat May 17. Fine but dull and damp. Mr Speight and Mr Scadding here for dinner. I went to Miss Mundeys for dress $ 5.
Sun May 18. Fine bright day but windy. Aunt Nellie and I called at Simpsons. Mother and Annie also. Wylies all here for tea. Aunt Nellie, Annie and I at evening church.
Mon May 19. Fine bright day. men seeding the only day this week.
Tue May 20. Rained heavily from the east all day. beat in a little in D.- {Dining} room.
Wed May 21. Rained at first then fine and bright for a while. then rained again in the evening. Mr McDonald called first. Mrs Nisbet called. Mrs Clarke called at noon.
Thur May 22. Rained a little in the morning then cleared. we cut grass but very wet. Aunt Mattie and I at Miss Edeys. I ordered my hat. Annie called in evening. Range out last.
Fri May 23. Rained a little at noon. then fine. Annie and I out in eve.
Sat May 24. Fine and warm. then It came a very heavy rain in the afternoon. roads in a bad condition. we all spent the day at Mothers.
Sun May 25. Fine and warm. Aunt Nellie at morning church. we all went to evening church an ideal day. Annie called in afternoon.
Mon May 26 Fine -day. quite warm. washed bottom blankets. Aunt Nellie at a meeting at Mrs Halls. Put in all our Dahlias. Cut grass which is growing very fast. sitting out.
Tue May 27. Fine warm -day. Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto at Aunt Lizzies for tea.
Wed May 28. Fine day quite warm. Put on Bamboo Curtains. and Screen door.
Thur May 29. Fine and very warm and dusty.
Fri May 30. Fine and very warm Mrs Anthony Bowes buried. Aunt Nellie and I at the funeral. Annie here in evening then, she, Aunt Mattie and I for a little walk. blossoms are beautiful. sitting out all week. eve warm.
Sat May 31. Fine and warm. extreme heat for May almost the greatest for a length of time in May. Mary Watson here in eve. Mrs Little and children here. I called at Drs for Auntie. Aunt Nellie at a meeting.
Sun June 1. Fine and warm. extremely warm for so early in season Aunt Nellie at morning church I went in the eve. Misses Libby here for tea.
Mon June 2. Fine and very warm. Sent for Dr early in the morning Aunt Mattie very poorly. Willie and Mary also Annie here in the evening. Farmers done seeding and roots mostly
Tue June 3. Fine and very warm. 94 degrees. Dr came in eve. Auntie came down stairs for a while it is so warm.
Wed June 4. Fine and very warm, terrific dust. Aunt Nellie at Mrs {Breaky?} tea. for Mrs Langstaffs. Dr and Minnie also Arthur and bride to tea. Mr and Mrs Scott called to see them.
