June

30 Tuesday. Clear, cool & windy The men were hoeing corn. The people in the section had a farewell part for Miss Ethel Young at Norman Kiugs and presented her with a glass dish Walter, Ella & Vernon were there too.

July

1 Wednesday. Cloudy & cool The men were hoeing corn this a.m. and brought in 8 loads of sweet clover this afternoon.

2 Thursday. Fine and warm. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira this morning. Aubrey was hoeing corn Vernon and Walter brought in 1 load of sweet clover tonight.

3 Friday. Cloudy. Heavy rain tonight. The men brought in 7 loads of sweet clover today.
