Monday Fine day sunny and cloudy. I fixed fence along S.S. to keep sheep in and Willie cut rest of oats in No 3 A. PM Willie went down Punch in buggy got at Ellis sugar etc $2.13 bread {boots?} 12 cts lard Ewings 90 cts. twine Nichols $2.63. We hauled in two loads oats from No 7 fixed binder canvasses etc Mr Phillips in to see about tuning piano Mary gave pair socks to tramp. |

Tuesday Terrific thunder storm last night and heavy rain Cloudy and sunny day, warm, frequent showers. Willie saw Fred Bondy in morning re thrashing, we cleared out granary got wood for thrashing etc also chopped some horse {?}. PM Arthur Walker brought his thrashing outfit here. Fred Bondy & Jim Whilton {or Whitlaw} with him, none stayed all night. Willie got at {Linns ?} grain 45 at Ewens goods 20 at {Minnows fly bypack ?} 35 at {Shortneeds ?} meat $2.00. W Clarke up PM got eggs 2 doz 40 cts. Willie told hands Jess in buggy |
