27 Friday. Very cold & stormy Ella's flower plants all froze last night. Levi Bauman was here this a.m. and got the sow he bought from Walter. Joe Hall spent the afternoon with Walter at the barn.

28 Saturday. Fair and cold. Walter went up to Koru's this morning and they brought home a load of hay from Temple's this p.m. Herbie Miller spent the afternoon with Vernon and they were skating.

Ella saw some crows on the 25th of February.

On Saturday February 28 there was an earthquake felt through out Ontario and Quebec. Three people are said to have been killed by shock. We didn't feel it at all although some of the neighbors did
