30 Friday. Not so cold. Fair. The men were plowing.

31 Saturday. Fine day. Vernon's birthday. He is 13 years old. He got a handkerchief from Mrs. Louis Miller and we gave him a fountain pen. This afternoon we went to Kitchener and Vernon got a new suit and overcoat. We were at Edith's for supper We went down-town after tea and the streets were crowded with gay Halloween crowds.

November, 1925.

1 Sunday. Fine day. Walter's birthday. He is 41 years old. Our company today were - Mr. & Mrs. Charles J. Hilliard and Mr. & Mrs. Milton Eix. We went to Woolwich church & S.S. this p.m.

2 Monday. Fair hazy day. Ella did her washing. The men were plowing.
