June Sunday 27 1926

Home from the milk route early Drove up home for dinner and Alex and Jimmie washed up in afternoon. Took some snaps up home and then had a fine time at Barkers and a drive to town after tea. Gave Melville and Eleanor a dandy buggy ride.

Monday 28

As usual a busy day for me after being early Sunday morning, so retired early at night as I was rather tired.

Tuesday 29

Sold a lot of tickets and collected a nice lot of accounts as it was nearly end of month.

June Wednesday 30 1926

Took in $57.57 cash on milk route the largest cash receipts for one day since the Golden Guernsey milk route started. Got snaps I took on Sunday and they were fine.

July Thursday 1

Finished my work up early in the afternoon and drove up to Barkers. Helped Jean milk and then drove up home for tea. Nice drive back and I certainly had a wonderful time with Jean. Sweet memories of a year ago when I started going with Jean.

Friday 2

Felt great all day but why shouldn't I with a girl like Jean as an inspiration and after the encouragement I received the night before
