August Monday 2 1926

Home from milk route at 7.45 when I had Roscoe acting as truck driver. Busy day for us at Bendemere when we won the first prize for the best decorated horse drawn vehicle in the big Civic Holiday parade. Attended races and also street dance at night. No sleep from 3.45 AM to 12.10 AM.

August Thursday 5 1926

Took show harness up home in the truck then went with Jean in her car to a U.F.Y.P.O. directors meeting at Les Kelleys. Drew up programme for balance of the year 1926. Dandy drive coming home and Jean let me drive the Dodge part way.

Nice time with the gang in the Dodge at night and a feed of ice cream at the Café afterwards.
