Wed Jan 25. Fine but a terrific high wind and cold. phoned Marjorie.

Thur Jan 26. Colder two above zero. falling light snow untill noon and cleared with snow and cold. I called to see Miss Mae {illegible}. first wintry looking day of the season about 2 or 3 snow.

Fri Jan 27. Fine bright morning and then started to snow in afternoon and continued all evening. Mr Davidson and I to see them curl in eve-

Sat Jan 28. Fine and bright but cold I saw Mrs Smellie called in the afternoon

Sun Jan 28. Fine but very cold. 10 or 12 below zero. a perfect day and no wind. I went to morning church. for a walk and at eve church.

Mon Jan 30. Fine and very cold. 12 or 14 below zero but not so low in Toronto {illegible}. church burned. Mrs Davidson and I called to see Mr Sneilen

Tue Jan 31. Fine bright and cold. {illegible }down to John {illegible} for dinner Vemer brought me to N.Toronto home about mine. I called at Mr Halls. odd sleighs and cutters out. but no depth of snow.

Wed Feb 1 Fine day but windy and bluesky. Mr Hall buried. I called hair {illegible} at J. Bowes in the evening. cold but nice steady weather a week.

Thur Feb 2. Moderately cold. beat, did not see his shadow but bright later on. over to see girls skiing. Called at Mrs Nobles in aft-

Fri Feb 3. Milder and thawing in Toronto at Hepp. annie here at night Mr Powsell and Miss Edey called when I was away.

Sat Feb 4. Mild and sloppy turned colder at night. Annie at Mr Boyle to dinner. Mr Davidson and I for a walk

Sun Feb 5. Fine bright perfect day.{illegible} cold. at morning church. Mr Davidson and I for a walk. I walk to evening church. very cold.
