splendid time Emma lent me a novel (Edith Leyle). After we came home I had to change my dress I went & pick hops then I milked had my supper & carried some water to cellery picked some plums to eat. Annie & Sarah getting ready to go to concert Brays came but they only had there buggy so Annie drove our buggy following them up. I reading novel after they went. Sarah got letter from Melville Lucas to day.
Tuesday 4th .. 83. Sept. Sarah & Maria L. walked. I tramped oats till nearly noon. I had novel reading it when I was resting. We hurried & went up to meet the one O'49 train which we expected Laura to go home on. She did not go. I got gloves & took them to Bronte I just got back when it rained & Minnie Sherdian
