Frid 15th.. Feb / 89. Annie & I hear alone. A went to P.O. Dave called to see about going to literary. intended taking a load bu Pa wouldn't let one of our horses go so Dave said he would contrive a rig of his own to go if that would suit me, he would call at 6.30 he & his friend Miss Jackson so they came & I went Pa tried to frighten us by saying it was going to storm by didn't see any storm that night. Got there in good time Joe, Frank, Philus Ida & Gertie there. Palermo finished the programme. Had a splendid time. Miss Jackson rather a nice girl. We made arrangements to go up to hill & sleigh ride next night. Got home 11.30.
Sat 16th.. Rather busy. M.L. came home on 6 train. It raining through the day so couldn't go sleigh riding at night.
Sun 17th.. Feb. Went to SS. Alf & S. down for dinner. I cam home from SS. & layed down & had a nap when Arthur B. came he drove me home from SS. then drove back for his folks & came in again. Wanted me to go to Oakville church but I expected Joe down to take me so he didn't come by 8 so I went to bed & Arthur B came & stayed till 10.
Mon 18th.. Stormy. sunny most all day.
Tues 19th.. Washing It blustry day Dave & Miss Jackson came I playing when they came lit fire & we played cards then Had a short sing & I gave them cake & they went at 11.30.
Wed 20th.. Got work done & went to store in cutter then went to over to see Edith Mitchell. stayed quite a while she looks very tired. Archie S came & A went for a drive.
Thurs 21st.. / 89. Pa cleaning stove pipe & I cleaning room. very busy all day. Emily Triller & her father came then C. Bray. Annie & C. went to church & sing for childs funeral Mrs Lands Ella called. M.W. came home. I very tired done baking after got through cleaning.
